This popular reality program showcases many innovative green building techniques & products, giving the viewers ideas to incorporate into their own homes. In each episode a home is completely rebuilt using a design team and local construction companies and volunteers.
This Extreme Makover show featured the Silva family in Rhode Island. The Silva''s are foster parents but their home had been found to contain unsafe levels of lead paint. The Silva''s now have a brand new home complete with a freewatt micro combined heat and power system that will help them save on their utility bills every year while protecting the environment.
