The Climate Energy hydronic freewatt-ready system provides you with the ability to install a freewatt compatible hydronic heating system today that will allow you to upgrade to a full heat and power freewatt system at a later date. This option is particularly useful to customers who need to replace their hydronic heating system and can’t wait for our full hydronic freewatt system to be released (currently planned for April 2008 for natural gas and April 2009 for propane).

The freewatt-ready system consists of Climate Energy’s high efficiency freewatt boiler installed in a “freewatt-ready configuration”. What that means is that the installer will follow specific Climate Energy guidelines for the piping and equipment layout that are certified to allow for easy future upgrade of the heating system to a full hydronic freewatt system. No other hydronic heating system is certified to allow this full freewatt system upgrade without replacement of the boiler with the Climate Energy freewatt boiler.
